April 9 of this year has marked one year since my mama, Mary Healan has been gone from this earth. She finally gave into her 7 year battle with cancer and now praise God is in no more pain. She leaves behind a husband,3 daughters and 3 son-in-laws, 5 grandchildren, and a great grand child who miss her so; and who know and remember on a daily basis the definite mark of love she made on each of our lives. In my pain and continued grieving this year I remembered such a time of love and wanted to share just that thought with each of you. In my deepest pain it is when God can bring healing .... a healing I know I can pass on to my own daughter who will never know her meme personally... but will know her in photographs and stories. Enjoy!!Download the_mason_jar.doc
To the far right this is Meme at Charlee's (my daughter's) 1st birthday party. She passed away about 4
weeks later. The other photos are from Charlee's 2 year party...

Allison,
I went to the your site to get your phone number - your business card was not with me at the time. I saw your blog page and decided to see what was there and low and behold a few pix from our family's photo shoot! They brought tears to my eyes, they were so beautiful! I can't wait to see the rest! I'll be calling you TODAY! But, then.... I read The Mason Jar.... and now I'm BAWLING!!! A very touching and beautiful tribute. God bless you for sharing it!
